My school is a Title 1 school. It is a 90-90-90 school which means we are 90% English Learners (ELs), 90% free or reduced school lunch and 90% poverty. My students and I are fortunate enough to have a class set of tablets and use technology every day. My students have become very comfortable with technology, using apps/websites and applying it to their current learning standards. They are eager to learn more and try new and different things. They have taken on the mindset that if we fail at a new task that it is okay, we just have to try again until we figure out a solution. Technology has played a large role in their growth mindset because they have experienced failing at a new task but trying it again until they understand.
