I introduced flexible seating in my classroom a few years ago with stability balls. I saw a huge improvement in student focus and behavior, but I found that the stability balls weren't for everyone. I want to offer other ways for my students to use flexible seating so they can move and wiggle while they work. The chair bands will allow students to move their feet without getting out of their seats. The wobble cushions will allow students to bounce and wiggle in their seats. Children need to move. Flexible seating allows students to bounce, wobble, and fidget in a way that meets their needs without them becoming a distraction in the classroom.
