I teach K-5 students. Our school is very culturally diverse (with 23 different spoken languages among students). The students love Spanish class and love being challenged with new projects. They enjoy activities which include real life events and skits in which they can practice what they learned. They also work a lot in cultural projects to learn more about Spanish speaking countries around the world, besides representing their own cultures. I also have high expectations for my students. Besides having fun in class with projects, they also work really hard in writing and grammar. My highest goal is for them to be completely fluent in speaking, reading and writing, and to be able to be exposed to the culture of Spanish speaking countries. ❝If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head.
