The students at Walnut Street School are compassionate. We have organized various fundraisers for charities throughout the year, such as Alex's Lemonade Stand, Island Harvest, "Teens for Jeans," The Writing Initiative for Schools in Haiti and "Pennies for Patients" for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. The students are constantly giving to others. They take pride in their school and community and would like to "beautify" the school garden. We are in need of quality paint that will last! Please consider the efforts and compassion the students have shown for others. It is time to give back to our students! We live in a district that relies on donations to support school and community projects. The students have selflessly devoted their time and fundraising efforts to help others in need rather than help themselves. Let's reward them with a beautiful garden to enjoy!
