I have a class full of very active, highly energetic first graders. I have a group of 11 girls and 13 boys. They enjoy working in teams, sharing their ideas within their team and in whole group. I work at a school that is primarily low SES. There are 5 kindergartens, 5 first, 5 second, 5 third, and 4 fourth grades in our school. Our school has over 500 students.
