I have 22 active first graders in my class. They love to sit around the room to learn. It is very rare that kids choose to sit in a traditional school desk and chair. They are more focused on their learning when they are given the freedom to use non-traditional seating. Our class motto is "Kneel, Sit or Stand... Just Learn! My school has a large portion of children receiving free or reduced price lunch. Each child receives a free breakfast every morning.
