Sometimes using just a paper and pencil or a textbook does not cut it. Students today benefit from learning by doing together. Breakout EDU uses unique clues, locks, technology, and fun to have groups of students solve complex mysteries together with communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. This amazing learning platform will immerse students in the Spanish language as well as use critical thinking strategies. These supplies can be shared among various classrooms and students cannot only solve mysteries, but use the supplies and teamwork skills to create their own mystery. By solving these engaging learning games, students will be strengthening all kinds of skills and be excited about it. With a class-average of 33 students each, I will need 5 Breakout EDU kits to ensure all students are engaged and able to challenge themselves with the task at hand. If groups are too large, some students will fall in the back and will not be provided the same opportunity as their peers. I would also love to share these resources with those in my department. They too can benefit from the purchase of such an "immersive learning game platform!" Both I and my students would greatly appreciate the opportunity to practice and demonstrate their content-knowledge in a new and exciting way!
