Many of the students here at our small charter school have not been successful in math before, or have attendance issues. The 3D printer in my classroom captures the attention of many math averse or school averse students who willingly persevere to design exactly what they want, without a lot of hand holding. The students range from brilliant but disconnected to overage and years below grade level. One thing for sure, they are all unique individuals striving to receive their high school diploma to have a better life.
