Having a document camera will help students in multiple ways in my classroom. First, they will be able to show off their work to their peers. They LOVE showing off their awesome work, but it is hard for all to see. This also helps me show good examples of work. Second, I can use the document camera to show mentor texts so all students can see! This helps students understand the material and see details. Finally, it is very beneficial in math to work through problems together! I would love to show multiple examples of how to solve word problems and showing new strategies.
