Welcome to my Donors Choose page. I am an elementary music and art teacher for two small town schools in Central Illinois. I work with approximately 400 students each year, presenting two concerts a year and an art show. I like to use a mixture of approaches including Kodaly, Orff and World Music Drumming. It is is my philosophy to introduce our students to the global community through rich, diverse musical experiences and to prepare them to be musical members of society. It is my goal that they learn to appreciate music and be comfortable singing, dancing and playing throughout their lives.
