I teach Health in an inner city high school where funds are limited. We don't have textbooks or any other materials related to teaching Health and Wellness. There are six basic topics comprised in the health curriculum: 1. Emotional and Mental health 2. Nutrition and Physical Activity 3. Tobacco, Alcohol and other Drugs Prevention 4. Violence and Injury Prevention 5. Abstinence, Personal and Sexual Health and 6. HIV, STDs and Pregnancy Prevention. "It takes a village to raise a child."
