This year my students are doing personalized learning. Therefore, we are having students choose where they want to sit, what materials they want to use, and how they will solve the problems. The flexible seating choices will help students get more comfortable and engaged in their daily activities. Sometimes just having the choice to get up out of the standard chair and desk works wonders when trying to get my 3rd graders to work. The bean bags and balance balls are for students who learn better not sitting at a standard desk. Students will be given the choice of where they want to sit. This will give my students options to help them learn better and work with student in a small group setting. The iPad will assist my diverse learners by having pre-recorded material ready for them to access while I work with another group of students. Also, students can use it in the classroom to take pictures and videos to share with their parents to extent the learning experience outside the classroom.
