With the upcoming school year starting remotely, I want to create a learning kit for each of my students, to ensure they have all the tools necessary to be successful as they learn online. Providing these valuable resources to each of my kindergartners will make virtual learning just as effective as being in the classroom. I will create two different learning books for each child using the sheet protectors and folders with prongs. They will also be used during Writer's Workshop. The basic school supplies and pencil pouches will help keep my students organized, which is a skill we work on every day. The card stock will be used to make educational games. The magnetic dry erase sheets will be cut into thirds and attached to cookie sheets so the children can begin working independently on word work. So many of my students and their families are facing difficult times. The days ahead are uncertain and it is my goal to provide the most stable educational experience possible.
