Preventing illness and the spread of contagious sickness is a way to help students stay in school. If students are ill, whether at home or school, their performance and ability to learn will be significantly and negatively affected. By involving the students in the cleaning of hands, equipment and surfaces they can also learn the value of cleanliness. The goal for this project is to have a clean classroom, as well as teach students to protect their health. Clorox wipes will be used by the students and myself to make sure tables and other surfaces are clean and as germ free as possible. Tissues will be used to prevent the spread of airborne germs while coughing and sneezing. Hand sanitizer and soap will be used by the students to wash and keep their hands as germ free as possible.
