My students come from a high poverty area where 100% of our students receive free or reduced price lunches. These students come to class everyday, ready to do their best and achieve their dreams. My students dream of graduating high school, continuing their education at college, or entering the armed forces. My goal is to prepare these students to achieve their goals and dreams. My students are determined. Our classroom uses the PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support) program to help our students to remember to always make the right decision. This program helps the students both academically and personally, and provides them with skills they can take with them into college and the workforce.
