I teach kindergarten and first grade at a K-5 school with about 1200 students. My students are amazing! Some of them face challenges and hardships no child should ever endure. However, they do not let any challenges at home stop them from learning. My students love to read and are often asking why they aren't able to choose new books from the school library and why they have to choose the same books over again.
