My students are twenty five very energetic and enthusiastic children. They are from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures. They have formed a "family" within our classroom. They do not exclude anyone, no matter who they are. They are full of wonder for everything around them. They have deep thoughts about every aspect of their lives, and are open to new ideas. They laugh, sing and enjoy anything that they can do with their hands! They love receiving praise, for anything, no matter how small it may seem. They enjoy helping others and are more than willing to do so. Our school is in a small town located near an Indian reservation. While we do have computer labs in our school, there are few computers in each classroom. In order to enhance their learning without the aid of computers, hands-on and group activities work best for my students. Our school is a place that puts the students needs first. Their safety and learning are our top priority.
