Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I began teaching at PS 23 in 2003, one month after graduating with my Art Education Bachelor Degree.Through many trial and error experiences I have come to understand the importance and relevance of visual art in the lives of the children I service. Our school is Title 1 in the heart of The Bronx. Though generous contributions and dedicated administration, the art program for these children has flurished. We service every child in the school with either visual arts or dance one or two times a week. They are excited to learn outside of their classrooms a subject that only requires imagination and the willingness to try! Brian MacRae
