Life has many struggles and everyday my students walk into my classroom ready to meet the challenges I have set forth. They ask me, "What are we going to learn today?", and I say, "How to be all you can be." We are a low income school located in New Mexico supported by Title 1 and 100% free breakfast and lunch. We are a school that provides backpack food for many of the students on the weekend, and our school also has a food truck and pantry for our families. We as a school have solicited donors for clothing and shoes for many of our homeless or underprivileged students. Despite the hardships that many of these students encounter on a daily basis, my students come to school ready to learn and always give 100% effort. They want to be here because they want a safe environment where they can work on becoming the best they can be one day.
