Students will use the leveled readers and Scholastic magazines to help them become successful readers. These books will help all students to master Nevada Academic Standards R.L.10 which is all about reading and discussing literature at grade level. Covid has made the last few years different for all students. Some have been successful and are able to read at grade level. Some students have large gaps and are several grade levels behind. These materials will help me as a teacher to have resources at different levels, not just the 2nd grade level that I teach. Being in a grade level school, I can't just run next door and get lower leveled materials because those classrooms are across town. This will really help address different leveled reading in my classroom.
