This project will connect classrooms. As a music teacher in a school district where other schools are provided one year of music then rotating with one year of art instruction. I have been fortunate to teach at school where Music and Art instruction is available for all students every year. In an effort to share the wealth of music instruction and to explore the larger world that is out there, this project will purchase a Swivil robot that will assist with the broadcast of the music classroom, and share instruction with others that do not have access to a music teacher. It is our hope to have a partner classroom or classrooms and share the music instruction with other students around the district and possibly around the world. This project will not only make a difference in our students lives by exploring the world around them but also the lives of others students who do not have music instruction in their schools. This project will allow for students to interact with others around them and allow for sharing their music class with others.
