I teach in a Title 1, low-income school where all students receive free/reduced lunch. School is their home, their safe haven. Though they walk into my classroom with different backgrounds and experiences, they all have on thing in common--they LOVE to learn. My students are passionate and excited during our time of learning together. This class deserves so much more than I will ever be able to offer them. Please help me make this a 1st grade year they will never forget.
