The materials are needed for them to access their curriculum. The ink is needed to print symbols or pictures to create picture schedules and/or vocabulary with picture symbols. The laminating pouches will serve to protect all the symbols printed with color ink giving them a longer last. The velcro will be used to be placed on their tables, communication books, etc. The folders are used to sort their class assignments as well as vocational created task, such as alphabetizing words to prepare them for office like jobs. All of these items will be created to make our students as independent as possible.
