They love to learn and enjoy the opportunity to use technology, through reading and math apps. I am a first year Kindergarten teacher, and we have just transitioned to full day school. My class is a fun and rambunctious group of individuals who bring such joy to my face when they get excited about reading. It has taken a lot of hard work and energy on both parts to raise our reading to new levels. Providing these students with technology will enhance our reading levels in all areas with a focus in literacy and math. Overall, our school's reading levels are below average. With the combination of full day Kindergarten and my personal commitment to raise the reading levels of my students I feel the implementation of technology will encourage the love of reading and personal success.
