Having a set of tablets will help students in my classroom in many ways. I will be using the tablets as a reading group center where students can play phonics games and read differentiated texts that I can assign using our new ELA adoption Wonders. During math groups students can also use tablets to play math games to review math concepts and standards. Many of my students don't have access to technology at home and can't take advantage of resources that require technology. Unfortunately, our district still needs to catch up on the access of technology for all teachers and schools. I would like to help my students be able to take advantage of provided resources with the proper technology and close the gap.
