Our students come from a variety of social, financial and racial backgrounds. Since the local public district is not expanding to fit the exploding population, our preK-8 charter was created to accommodate students who are used to severely overcrowded public classrooms with crisis-level financial deficits. We have an extremely diverse population of kids, many of whom excel academically, and many who are begging for a one-on-one experience with a teacher who can show them that they are indeed capable, gifted, and needed in this world. Our school seeks to show kids, many of whom come from difficult backgrounds, that they can make a difference, that they are capable of change, that they can excel, and that there are teachers who are willing to give all of their energy to promoting their individual unique abilities in order to create young people who can have a positive impact on each other and their world.
