Hello :) I am a teacher who works with students with emotional disabilities. They are incredible young people many of who have had past traumas that has caused them to struggle dealing with every day stressors. A majority of them suffer from mental illnesses. I am very blessed to get to spend my days working with these students. When giving the opportunity and structure they demonstrate they have huge hearts and can help make the word a better place. I see this every day in my Service Learning class. I have a group over about 20 who help run a clothing closet and who work a few times a week with developmentally delayed students. I am blessed to be teaching this class. They also have run food drives and have been part of fundraising for great causes. I am also a very passionate U.S. History teacher and love love teaching my Social Emotional Learning class. I am very lucky to be working in my dream job!
