Who reads in stiff wood or plastic chairs? In the Lounge, kids will ease into comfy chairs just like when they are at home; they can relax. Being comfortable with books leads to lifelong reading habits, so we encourage students to grab a pillow to find just that right position to lose themselves as they read. The Leopard Reading Lounge will provide a comfortable spot for scholars to take a deep dive into books. Separate from the activity tables, the lounge will encourage students to grab a book, a soft chair or pillow, and explore new ideas, places, and people in a quiet--and as one student put it--"safe" place for reading.
