The more we read the better we get. My students are struggling readers who need the practice and variety to get better. There is a limited number of books available for my students in my class on their level. By poviding a cariety of books on their level or above gives them an opportunity to read a variety of authors. The class sets will be useful in providing a group teaching moment with discussion to help build comprehension and understanding. All if this together will help improve their reading ability and level, as well as their confidence in their reading ability.
