I am asking for items such as a button maker, glue guns, velcro, and foam lettering. These materials will help students at my school be a vital part of building positive school culture to unify and strengthen our educational community. With these items, students will be gifted the opportunity to play integral roles in establishing their own unique advisory/home room flags, traditions, and culture. The materials will allow students to collaborate towards a unified vision for their advisory class. I am also seeking items like timers and fidget toys. The materials requested will also help make classrooms culturally responsive, comfortable, and allow students to self-monitor. Finally, these items, specifically the button maker, will allow students to show pride in academic and social achievements. Students will receive buttons during monthly school celebrations.
