My students are an enthusiastic bunch who want to make a difference in the community. They come from the local neighborhood as well as from quite a distance. In some cases, some students come to school by bus and take 2 hours to get here. They love this campus and their education, and put in the effort to get here on time and ready for learning. As a group, they work well together. One example of this is how they sprung to action after terrorist attacks in France. They researched the events, and found ways of working to show support using their knowledge of French language and culture.
