I am a librarian at Kingsbury Elementary. I love being able to instill the love of reading in the children I teach everyday. I grew up loving books and I want the same for my students. Reading has and always will be very important to me. I believe readers can change the world we live in. My students are often not exposed to a large variety of books except in my library. It is a privilege and an honor to be able to share my passion with my students. I know whenever I pick up a book to read to a student, I am putting the power of knowledge in their hands. For me, there is no greater gift that I could give to them.
