From sparks of imagination to hands-on innovation, students bring their ideas to life through the engineering design process. Along the way, they discover how creativity and problem-solving shape the world around them. They take on real-life projects: designing custom light switch plates, puzzles, game pieces, locker accessories, holiday ornaments, consumer products, and even gears for robotics. In addition, students dive into robotics and computer coding, programming their creations to tackle challenges and make their designs move, react, and function. The ultimate goal is for them to master the design process and confidently apply it to both their projects and everyday life.
