I implement supplemental online lessons that allow me to effectively differentiate lessons to meet each student's academic needs. Currently, we use flimsy headphones that break easily. They have been replaced several times throughout the course of the school year and we currently do not have enough headphones for all students. With better quality headphones, students will be able to more consistently access supplemental online resources. These resources provide students with an alternative way to access the curriculum that better meets the individual needs of their disability. These programs provide visual, auditory, and tactile learning experiences for my students. The variety of the programs we use allow students' instruction to be differentiated to their exact skill level. It also enables me to track student growth. I am then able to use the data it provides to tailor instruction to meet the students' individual needs and help them grow as students. Thank you for your consideration in helping our classroom meet its technological needs.
