Since we are in a rented church classroom, students need seating for instruction. The easel and flexible seating will allow for easy storage in our graciously donated room. I will use the flexible seating for small groups, a reading area, and for instructional aides who assist my students with special needs. Since I have students peer teach one another, the easel will make that easy to do. The flexible seating will allow students to form groups for learning tasks. I had a well supplied reading nook and pillows were a big hit with fifth graders for DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) time each day!
