The area rug that I am requesting for my students already has a "home". We know exactly where it will go and how we will use it. The rug that is big enough for all of my students will be used as our gathering spot throughout the day. We use this space at the start of each day for our restorative circles. We use this space for our classroom read alouds and comfortable read to self spots at the end of the day. We use this space for our Writer's Workshop, math instruction, and so much more. We LOVE to sit as snug as a bug ON a rug all together while learning! The requested area rug will not only give all my students a comfortable spot to sit but will brighten up our classroom space.
