My students are dedicated and hardworking third graders. Third grade year is a difficult year because we have the Third Grade Guarantee. This is the only grade where if the child does not pass their state test they do not move on to the next grade. My students enjoy learning and they want to do their best. We are always trying to find the best ways of learning for these kids and we are trying to meet all their individual needs. My school is in the city and we have a diverse range of students. The ability level of my students range from very high to very low. Many of my students are on free or reduced lunch and breakfast. These students do not have the materials at home to help them be successful in math or in other subject areas. Our school is committed to the educational growth of each student. We strive to work together to build a community of learners and are committed to helping the children reach their full academic potential through our individualized instruction.
