The students that attend my school are in the grades beginning at Pre K - 8th grade but I teach second grade/ third music and 4th- 8th-grade band. The students were excited about joining the band because this the first year that school has started an instrumental music program. The students are energetic and are very eager about joining the band, being that they live in a musical city. Many students of ethnic backgrounds attend the school and we encourage them that the sky is the limit.
