The PE equipment will help to provide enough resources at recess time, so all students can engage in physical activities, either independently like using jump ropes or hula hoops, or as partners or a group, like 4-square or scoops. Most of the students at my site tend to be sedentary and do not engage in physical activity due to the lack of equipment. The equipment will help students increase their physical activity and improve their overall health. If my students are healthy, they will be at school learning. The earbuds will help the students to calm their minds and enable them to engage better with their literacy and math computer programs without distracting others nearby. It is my hope that when my students are provided resources to improve their over-all well being, that my students will become healthier and it will be reflected in increased attention and academic progress.
