Education has been slashed in our state this year. So much that we do not have textbooks or workbooks to assist the children with important math skills. We have worked hard to create our own math program as a result of very hard work and funds from our own pockets. What we wanted more of, were games and centers that showed math in real world settings. To draw students interest, we knew we most show how math is relevant in their everyday world. These math games will help students to develop math fact fluency. The centers and real world activities will show students how math affects their lives every day. These activities would be used in small groups with teachers, tutors, and in centers.

About my class
