Our football team has had some great success lately, they continue to work very hard and are always trying to improve. One way we have been able to help them is to allow them to see video of them actually playing. By providing them with this real life feedback almost immediately they are able to see what they are doing correctly and also what they can improve upon. This works by having one of our coaches or managers who film a play (either at practice or at a game). When the play is complete we have the option to send the video file to an iPad which a coach has either on the sideline or in the huddle at practice. Once the play transfers to the iPad, both student-athletes and coaches are able to review the play and point out things that were done correctly and where some changes can be made to improve. The whole process takes less than 1 minute after the play concludes. To protect our new iPad, we need screen protector and case as well. Allowing our student-athletes the ability to see themselves is a great tool, as we always say film never lies! By providing these tools for immediate feedback our coaches and players will continue to improve to become our best!
