My students are diverse in race, ethnicity, gender, religion, and skill level. I am the only guided reading teacher in fifth grade, so I work with all 65 students on a daily basis. Most of the students come from mid-low income homes. Approximately 40% of the students in our school receive free or reduced lunch.
