Dramatic Play = Life Transformation After doing an activity around jobs and asking my students what they wanted to do when they grow up, I became very discouraged with their answers. I knew I needed to do something to help broaden my students thinking. My students are 4 and 5 years old. My students need a dress up area so that they can add to their dramatic play experiences. Being able to act out daily activities that they have seen or are learning about. We are located in an inner city area that is mostly low economic families. They are eager to learn. When introduced to new opportunities that they never knew were possible it is amazing to see their faces light up. I love seeing their hunger to learn when they are introduced to a new concept. My students gave answers that saddened my heart when asked the question "what do you want to do when you grow up. I knew then I wanted to introduce, all the endless possibilities they have when they grow up. The sky is the limit!
