We are a thriving academic community where collaboration is key and learning is engaging and challenging and instruction is tailored to the whole child. I am a sixth grade, math teacher who has been given the fortunate and amazing responsibility of teaching 138 students the art of math. On any given day, walk into my classroom and you will be witness to just a small glimpse of all the amazing things that occur throughout the school day. These include lessons and activities that involve student leadership, collaboration and offer opportunities that promote innovation, support their creativity and give validation to the fact that math is a vital part of their daily lives.
