These materials will allow my students to create wonderful sets, props, and costumes for the musical they are writing, choreographing, and performing. They are learning all aspects of production, including advertising, stage management, script writing, and music arranging. The show will then be performed for the community and other schools invited to watch as an assembly. When each student has access to building and art supplies the work goes smoother. Creativity is nurtured and encouraged when everyone can have tools and supplies to use without having to wait for a turn and perhaps waste the better part of the period.
