Hello! My name is Ms. D. I am a Special Education Teacher for students with special needs. I love my new students while I continue to miss so many students from previous years!! During the school day, I love to read, cook complete arts oriented projects, and even do photography with my students in addition to teaching them academics. It is important for students to learn in subject areas, but it is even more important to help them expand their hearts! I try to do this by offering other activities as rewards for their hard work. My students do not always enjoy academics so I make it my personal goal to determine their interests and mix that with their academic goals. More often than not, it is a rather successful combination!
