My students are awesome. We are located in in the rural area of our district. Our school is 97 percent African American and 92%of our students qualify for free or reduce lunch. I teach 50 3rd graders math and science in two blocks. 63% of my students are reading below 3rd grade level. 45%are below grade in math. We are becoming a STEAM infused school starting at 3rd grade. My students are really excited about learning through projects.
