My students will be able to sculpt with colorful wire using Alexander Calder's Circus as an exemplar. Using traditional bamboo brushes, they will learn to paint landscape elements in ink as demonstrated by Asian artists throughout the ages. The large collection of brushes will expand their current work in watercolor and tempera paint while providing tools for future work in acrylics. Along with those creative materials, The Caran D'Ache watercolor crayons will give students the opportunity to work with high quality materials for the first time this year. Your generosity can provide my students the tools needed to expand their creativity. After all, creativity is key when it comes to art!
