Hello, My name is Vernon Tionquiao. I am an occupational therapist in the Beaverton School District in Oregon. I currently serve students with various special needs in seven schools throughout the district (grades K-12) in both general education and self-contained classrooms. Part of my role is to facilitate growth in fine motor, visual motor, and visual perceptual skills, as well as providing appropriate sensory accommodations to increase successful participation for our students throughout the school setting. These skills immediately impact a student's ability to write, color, cut, draw, access supplies, or even eat lunch. I work directly with students and staff to ensure best outcomes and best practice for all of our students. I always aim to keep learning and growing fun and engaging for all students and staff.
