I teach in a first grade classroom full of vibrant, and enthusiastic learners. They come to school each day with a passion for learning, and boy are they honest! (Be prepared for opinions on any new outfit or haircut). In our classroom, we strive to foster an environment that celebrates our differences. We come together to create a safe space for all learners to expand and grow. We succeed together, and we understand that fail is simply a First Attempt In Learning! As you can imagine, 26 first graders piled into one room can get a little bit chaotic if we are not careful. That is why organization is so important! In first grade, we really work hard towards our goal of becoming independent learners. I want my students to have easy access to all of the learning materials in our classroom. This project will help create a student friendly, organized classroom that still maintains the whimsy of first grade.
